DV TASK FORCE

The Sitka Domestic and Sexual Violence Task Force is made up of individuals from agencies and nonprofits in the community who are dedicated to creating a community where everyone is honored and respected as they work together to end suffering caused by domestic and sexual violence.

The task force meets once a month to exchange information about their work and to collaborate in and plan events that further the task force's mission.

Regular members are, besides SAFV, employees of the Sitka Public Health Center, Sitka Tribe of Alaska, the District Attorney’s office, Sitka Police Department, Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC), and Sitka Community Hospital.

Meetings are advertised in the Sitka Sentinel and on the KCAW community calendar at www.kcaw.org. Contact us at info@safv.org with questions.
