DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Domestic violence can be perpertrated by a romantic partner, household or family member. Here, you will find information and resources on domestic violence.

CHILD ABUSE

VULNERABLE ADULT ABUSE

Vulnerable adult abuse is when a caregiver commits knowing, intentional, or negligent act on an adult who is unable to care for onself. Here, you will find information on vulnerable adult abuse, and how to report it. 

HISTORICAL TRAUMA

Historical trauma is the accumulative pain over a person's lifespan and across generations that result in massive group trauma. Here, you will find information about the effects of historical trauma, and how it relates to DV/SA.

TEEN DATING VIOLENCE

Teenage dating violence is just as serious as adult domestic violence, as it often starts a pattern of abuse or victimization that lasts a lifetime. Here, you will find information and resources for teen dating violence.

Bullying is unwanted, agressive behavior among school-aged children that is ongoing and involves real or perceived power imbalance. Here, you will find information about what bullying is and the different roles kids can play.

SAFV uses primary prevention as a key strategy in ending violence. It focuses on building protective factors into people's lives to help them grow into healthier, resilent people who act with respect and nonviolence.
