Sitka’s Community Prevention Coalition

Pathways to a Safer Sitka is Sitka’s prevention coalition comprised of approximately 20 individuals representing a diverse cross section of the community.  Pathways meets bi-monthly allowing time and space for the participants to develop a collective understanding of primary prevention, create a dialogue for effective solutions, strengthen alliances and partnerships, develop a manageable working plan, and build capacity for prevention across the community. Below is the resolution created by the members of this coalition. The comprehensive prevention plan is a work in progress and will be visible online soon.
